Peace Academy has conducted in five working districts (Jhapa, Bara, Palpa, Kaillali and Dang). Participants of peace academy were from ten youth political parties, journalist, community youth, college youth and youth from various background. The peace academy mainly focused on enhancing the understanding on Leadership, peace building, SDG, youth participation, empowering community young peoples to establish functioning network to promote peace building. This training is planned to provide a structured learning opportunity to analyze the dynamic and constantly changing field of peace-building. Participants were invited to compare, contrast and learn from different perspectives. The session is equipped with audio-visual and reading resources promoting social harmony, peace-building, democracy and development including practical sessions and peace-building exercises.
The peace school has conducted on different contemporary thematic issues such as Peace building (Understanding of Peace, Understanding Conflict, Conflict analysis, Conflict Resolution, Practical problem and solution exercise, Positive attitude), Youths and Migration Issues, Agenda of youths leaders and Sustainable Development Goals, Potential Leadership skill, Creative Thinking and Time Management, Social entrepreneurship, local level planning process in provincial level, SRHR. In average not less than 25 participants from each district has participated on the peace academy.
